I started training with Debbie about 6 months ago.  I walked in feeling beat up, tired (could hardly lift my head) and hating all the weight I had gained.  You see 20 months ago my son of 23 years passed away after battling with cancer.  I was tired and grieving but knew I had to do something to get myself off the couch and bring health and healing back into my life.

Debbie was the perfect person for me.  Not only did she help me get back into shape with workouts but she took the time to listen and personally research ways to help me start my journey back from the darkness.  She knew that for me, too much pushing would turn me away but she needed to give enough pushing to keep me going.  I am happy to say that it has been one of the best things to help me through my journey of grief.  I am eating better and have also incorporated heart pumping workouts, weights, and deep breathing exercises into my routine.   I am steadily losing weight, eating foods that nourish my body and I am well on my way to feeling physically, mentally, and emotionally stronger.

I am a 48 year old teacher of 4 year olds and I started attending classes with Debbie because I wanted to build and maintain my core strength. Since I began working out with Debbie I feel stronger and healthier than I have in years. Debbie’s fitness classes include a wide range of exercises and circuits she uses to give my body a full workout and it’s very important to Debbie that I am doing the exercises properly. I so appreciate the energy she puts into my time at her studio and the encouragement she gives me while helping me reach my fitness goals. Debbie is passionate about attaining and maintaining good health, she has a wealth of knowledge, not only about fitness training, but also about nutrition and lifestyle, and how this works to affect one’s overall health. I leave her studio inspired to live life fully, with good health as the goal.
